How do I toast a bagel in an oven?!

Question:

How do I toast a bagel in an oven?

I'm an idiot when it comes to preparing meals...unless the instructions are very specific or simple; like dumping the contents of a can in a bowl and then placing it into the microwave.

So, what temperature do I set it to and how long do I set the timer?

Answers:
Split bagel in half and place open faced directly on rack. No foil so both sides toast evenly.

Set oven on Roast or bake at 350 degrees. Keep an eye on it as all ovens cook differently.

I suggest taking it out with tongs or with silicone mitts so you don't burn yourself.

You should invest in a toaster oven or toaster which has bagel sized slots.

It depends on the toaster, some cook food faster than others. I would place the bagel in and jsut watch it until it begins to turn bown. When it gets to the shade you prefer that its done, and next time just remember how long it took.

set the oven on BROIL.
Place the bagel halves in the oven.
set the timer for 1 min. when the timer goes off check the bagels, if lightly browned on edges remove from oven.
If not browned set the timer for another min,
repeat until desired doneness.
remove bagels.
turn off oven.

if u don't know...stay from the oven

Grasshoppa...in order to find out how to toast a bagel in the oven, you have to learn how to boil water first. That would be your first true challenge, grasshoppa.

Pay close attention
First turn the oven on and put it on toast, then take a knife and cut the bagel in half, careful with your hand. Then take the bagel and put it in the oven, once again careful with the hands. Toast the bagel for about five minutes or until brown. Now your bagel is ready to eat. Oh and before I forget be very careful when you eat the bagel it "IS IT VERY HOT"

Enjoy.
