10 grams of Nutmeg into teaspoons?!
10 grams of Nutmeg into teaspoons?
Need to know this for cooking. Making a HUGE meal. Please don't use the online converters, I need to know from an actual persons experiment. Not packed into the spoon but just scooped out of the jar.
Answers:
This is two teaspons. An avergae teaspon can hold about 5 grams or 5 ml of water. Since the density is the same almost, 5 grams = 5 ml. So just use to spoons. Just remember, when you take it out, run your finger on the top to get rid of the excess. This will even it out. Hope your meal turns out wonderful.
Sorry, but no! The water = nutmeg analogy is false. One tsp of nutmeg is 2g, so you will require 5 level tsp. (Or 6-7 whole nutmegs -- avg 1.5g each -- grated by hand.)
Good luck with your dish!
