Can someone tell me how to save recipes on a cd?!

Question:

Can someone tell me how to save recipes on a cd?

Answers:
You can save anything to a CD--one thing though, it should be a Compact Disc ReWritable (CD-RW) which is a rewritable optical disc format that will allow you to add new recipes or delete something you decide not to keep.

A better idea would be to get a USB flash drive (much easier to manage). I save many types of recipes--if I find one I like online, I select and copy it then paste into a new Word document, name and save it. I also have a scanner which I use to copy recipes that are already printed (from my handwritten recipe book or something I may have cut out from a magazine). You can take it a step further and make folders to organize your recipes into categories like: desserts, casseroles, breads, etc.

From websites, just transfer them to your CD burning software and burn them.

From cookbooks, scan them as pdfs and burn them.

What is your ultimate goal? Saving recipes to a CD is not very efficient.
