Grilled Asparagus?!

Question:

Grilled Asparagus?

Has anyone had the grilled Asparagus at Applebees? I was wondering what they put on it to give it that flavor? Or does anyone have any other good, simple grilled asparagus recipes?

Answers:
Grill Asparagus

1 pound fresh asparagus
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
2 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons dill weed
salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
PREPARATION:
Remove the bottom third of the asparagus (woody parts of the stalk) and discard. Place asparagus in casserole dish. Add remaining ingredients. Marinate at least 1 hour, turning frequently.

Place skewers through the middle of the asparagus spears, or place spears in a greased grill basket.

Grill over hot coals until tender but still crunchy. Garnish with diced red bell peppers and lemon slices.

yes it is good it is grilled with mesquite

My husband just drizzles it with a comercial chili oil before grilling. I've also seen it wrapped in bacon.

Asparagus is pretty easy to grill, just keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn.

I drizzle olive oil over it with some dill seed and and fresh minced garlic, let it sit for about 30 mins or so and then grill it off to the side with my meat.. Very yummy!! you can get some really good receipes at epicurious.com

I've not tried that dish, but I fix grilled asparagus all the time & everyone loves it! Take asparagus & snap off ends, rinse, then marinate in a ziplock bag with spicy italian dressing for about an hour. Place asparagus in center of large piece of foil, then add a few cloves of garlic minced, a couple of lemon slices & a little butter. Seal pouch, then cook over medium coals til asparagus is fork tender.......Goes great with thick cut Rib-eyes.....

I wrap asparagus with a half a slice of bacon on each spear and grill it that way!! just a couple of toothpicks to hold it together!

the best grilled asparagus i've ever had is so simple.
snap and clean asparagus stalks, toss with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. then throw on the grill for 3-5 mins. very easy and very tasty
