What's the best side dish(es) to serve with salmon?

Answers:
Deffinently rice, beans, or mabye a salad

Finely shredded leeks, mashed potato and broad beans.

rice goes well with everything! also, try a sauteed squash blend. broccoli. maybe even just a simple mixed greens salad.

Rice pilaf and asparagus.

rice and salad,maybe some wine

chitlins umm mpigs' feet and jellied eggs

Wild rice and for a vegetable I'd say baby carrots in butter & basil or green beans almondine (green beans cooked in garlic butter with sauteed almonds slivers).

I usually make rice with lemon and oil, it could be brown or white. Spinach with almonds works as a good veggie to compliment it. Or roasted red peppers mixed with buttered corn. Great now I'm hungry!

Rice & cooked tomato with a touch of sugar.

when I am making grilled salmon I like having garlic roasted potatoes with it.

Tonight I ate Cutthroat trout (close relative of the Salmon) with garlic mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, a salad of sliced tomato with crumbled blue cheese, drizzled with olive oil

well, for color, I would do a wild rice flavored with citrus, lemon or orange. then, a spinach pomegranate salad with a vinigarette dressing. top off with a nice semi-dry white wine or a moscato. Classic, easy to prepare.

If you are making wild rice or brown rice (if you use white rice the juic will stain it) substitue orange juise or lemon juice or a combo mix for water. garnish witht eh citrus to add mroe color to the dinner.

the salad is easy, you might even add a cheese like blue, feta, something to take a little sweetness from the pomogranate. If you like salad crispy, but down on the spinach and make hafl and half spinach and romaine.

rice
