Is it safe to use?!

Question:

Is it safe to use?

I cooked a chicken breast about 4 days ago and put it in the fridge. I forgot about it. I hate to waste it. I was thinking of cutting it up and putting it into a pot of soup and cooking it for a couple of hours. Would that be safe to eat?

Answers:
as long as your fridge is cold enough and it smells OK then yes

Personally, I eat food that has been refrigerated for up to a week. After that it is bye bye! As long as you refrigerated it right after it was cooked it should be okay.

If it smells OK and you make sure you reheat it throughly then there should not be a problem.

As long as you have refrigerated it properly, you should be fine.

i think it would be, simply because it was in the fridge.

I am always cautious when it comes to poultry, but if it has been in a sealed container and isn't smelly I would use still use it.

If in doubt,
chuck it out.
