Answers:
ALFREDO SAUCE

1/2 cup cream cheese
1 cup milk 0-2 %
3 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 clove of garlic
1 tbsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp dry parsley/ 1/2 cup fresh

The best way to make this consistent is to use a blender, put cream cheese, milk, Parmesan, cheese, garlic, pepper and salt in blender. Blend until there are no clumps, poor into sauce pan on medium heat, cook for about 10 minutes, well cooking add parsley, is fresh chop finely and extra for garnish.
Cook your favorite pasta, I recommend spaghetti, if you want you may want to add chicken bacon any one of your favorite meats, I find it goes great with clams.

Pour desired amount over pasta, cook meat in sauce to absorb flavour into the meat, cook sea food in different pan and than add over pasta before pouring Alfredo Sauce.

If you find the original sauce using heavy cream and butter to be too heavy, then this modified, lighter version may be a healthier choice for you.

ENJOY

hmmm...I remember watching the food network...ok you start off with a roo (butter and flour) in the pain and then you start adding milk and heavy cream for the base and then after that you add alot of parmesan cheese and any other cheeses that you like and then a lot of black pepper. I hope I'm not leaving out any key ingredients.

I usually buy the McCormick Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce Mix packet, then you just add butter milk and the pasta.

Making it from scratch can be tricky to get it to taste exactly how you want it... but here's an excellent recipe: (Note: Use fresh grated real parm. cheese -- stuff in the can doesn't produce the same result)

1/2 cup sweet butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1 (12 ounce) box angel hair pasta

1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium/low heat.
2. Add the garlic, cream, white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer.
3. Stir often.
4. Add the parmesian cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth.
5. When sauce has thickend add the mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. STIR FREQUENTLY
6. While the sauce cooks, boil noodles for 3-5 minutes.
7. Plate pasta on serving plates and spoon sauce over pasta.

Another tasty recipe is:

1 pint of Heavy Cream
1 stick of butter
2 T. Cream Cheese
1/2 - 3/4 C. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. Garlic powder

In a saucepan melt butter. When butter is melted add cream cheese. When the cream cheese is softened add heavy cream. Simmer this for 15 - 20 minutes on low. You may wish to season with a little salt and pepper.

Simple way and the most basic is to melt 1 stick of real butter in a pot. To this add 1 qt. container of Heavy whipping cream. Stir together and then add parmesean and romano cheeses until dissolved. Simmer while stirring constantly. Salt to taste.

Easy recipe.

1 tablespoon butter
1 table spoon garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon onion (if you like onion)
1 teaspoon fresh or dried parsley
2 cups half and half or heavy cream
1 cup grated parm cheese.

Heat pan and melt butter on medium heat
add garlic/onion and parsley
let simmer and sizzle for about 2 minutes (make sure not to burn)
Add half and half (or heavy cream)
Let simmer for 1 to 2 Min's
Add cheese let simmer for about 1 min.
At the very end toss in any cooked pasta stir a few times and Viola! Pasta Alfredo for two! Very easy...very good...Did i mention easy and good?

This is not a real answer but my Alfredo sauce has always been a flop. Your recipes look simple enough to work so thanks for the info.
