Answers:
umm, as crazy as this might sound....i made bbq'ed ribs IN MY SLOW COOKER. mm hmm, i made them for a superbowl party this past february. they were the most popular item on the food table. i got the recipe from one of the shows on food network. here's the recipe... try it, you and your guests will love it.

2 sides pork spareribs (about 6 pounds), separated
1 (28-ounce) can chunky tomato sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Place the spareribs in the bottom of a slow cooker. In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients.
Pour the mixture over the spareribs. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.

also...i used beef ribs as well as pork,
but the beef ribs seemed to be more
popular. no one ate the pork ribs because
they all said that the beef ones were better.

best bbq ribs
1 tablespoon paprika (smoked)
1 tablespoon Hungarian paprika
1 tablespoon paprika (hot)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon red pepper powder
2 teaspoons black pepper, Fresh Ground
barbecue sauce mixture
2 cups Open Pit Barbecue Sauce (with Onion)
2 cups Bulls Eye bold barbecue sauce
1 cup catsup (Hunts)
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pepper
1 garlic clove (crushed)
1/2 small onion (1/2 minced)
1 teaspoon red pepper powder

Rub 3 racks or of ribs with the rub mixture.
Place in a large covered roaster on rack so you can put an inch or two of water in the roaster without touching the ribs.
Back at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
Combine BBQ sauce ingredients, and slather on the baked ribs. Place ribs on BBQ grill or in a stove top smoker for 10 mins or until sauce is set or slightly charred.

BARBECUED BEEF RIBS

This is a succulent recipe for barbecued beef ribs.
Makes 8 servings.

8 lbs. beef ribs from standing rib roast
1 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. instant minced garlic
1/4 c. oil
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 c. tomato puree
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. white vinegar
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 tsp. barbecue sauce (optional)
2 tsp. salt

Arrange beef ribs on rack in baking pan. Saute onion and garlic in oil until golden. Add mustard, tomato puree, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves, hot pepper sauce, barbecue spice and salt and simmer about 15 minutes. Strain. Brush barbecue sauce generously over beef ribs, covering them thoroughly. Bake at 375 degrees to 400 degrees 45 minutes, basting frequently with sauce until beef ribs are tender and well done. Store in remaining sauce, covered, in refrigerator.

Bake for 45 minutes with a little water & covered at 350. then place on middle of grill that has white hot coals that have been pushed to the sides & with top & bottom vents mostly closed to hold in the smoke(you want indirect heat not flames). Turn often for about 20-25 minutes. Then coat top & bottom with BBQ sauce(KC Masterpiece-Hickory) & keep grilling & turning while keeping the flames down for about 10 minutes. Wood chips that have been soaked in water can be added for more smoke flavor if desired. Enjoy!!!

I got an easier way boil the ribs then get some bbq sauce (Bulls eye) mix it with some spicy El Pato sauce and 350degrees you will be licking your chops.
