I've cooked minced beef with a can of baked beans, some ketchup and some sliced mushrooms! Sounds disgusting but it tastes fantastic with some plain boiled rice!!

This one is going to sound strange but it is fantastic! Go and buy one can of Tomato Soup and one can of Pea Soup. Mix the two together and add one tablespoon paprika, one can full of heavy cream and one can full of sherry wine and one can of crab meat. Stir and heat and declare this Crab Bisque!
Hash cakes are an old favourite of mine. Mmmmmmmmm.
peanut butter and banana toasties - to die for!
I don't know how unusual it is but my guy thought I was crazy when I made a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, tuna and cottage cheese and smothered it in 1000 island dressing.. YUM!!
Do you mean unusual combinations of ingredients? If so I made a pasta dish with Chicken and mango which came out quite well.
Yes, you can take frozen bread dough, let it thaw, then follow the directions for kneading it and letting it rise. Then open it up add some diced country ham, some green olives and some raisins. Close the loaf back up and cook it. It is very good with the different flavor combinations.
When i was young I went camping with the TA, we didnt have a lot to eat so we combined porridge oats with Sausages and sweetened it and it was fantastic.....
To this day I'm still not sure whether it was because it went well or because we hadn't ate for two days, but it really was nice at the time
chocolate and salt and vinegar crisps mmmm!!!
Mash potato and ketchup!!!
I haven't actually tried this, but a guy on Top Chef made mac 'n cheese with truffles. It looked fantastic. If I can ever afford truffles, I plan to give that a try.
my dad makes the best BBQ recipe!!! i dont know the exact measurements but it has
grape jelly
Gates BBQ sauce
brown sugar
ketchup
mustard
it is sooooooo good over ribs!!!
Everybody thought this was weird, but I put a little heavy cream in grits and it gave them a very rich, buttery taste.
Nacho chips covered with cheese and baked until gooey and then served with hot pepper jelly.
I had a chef for a roommate for a while, and he used to make strawberry mashed potatoes by adding some essence of strawberry oil to the potatoes - so good!!
Also, for a fun party presentation, put small berries (blueberries, raspberries) in an ice cube try, then fill with water and make the ice cubes. As ice cubes, they make the drinks (best with water) colorful and fun, and as they melt they give the water a hint of fruit flavor - yum!
Coca-cola is, in my personal opinion, extremely poisonous. However, in the old days before I came to this conclusion, I used to make the most delicious mocktail (non-alcoholic cocktail) using Coke.
Every single individual to whom I gave this 'recipe' said, "Yerch" and then all of them (bar one, who had the same reaction but denied it on principle) said it was delicious.
Okay, so what's the recipe? Simple; 50% Coke and 50% milk. If you try it, you will like it. Don't blame me about the toxic effects, though. Both ingredients must be Cold Cold -- just leave out the ice.
And, by the way, NEVER use diet Coke. That really is poisonous. I'm talking about the version that contains aspartame. If you have (almost) any medical problem at all and you're a consumer of diet/light drinks that contain aspartame, try substituting the version with sugar (the safe, natural sweetener) for a while; you may find you recover faster than you would believe. [Try Googling aspartame This post is long enough as it is but Google will quickly find you enough info to put you off aspartame for life.]
If you want a completely safe cocktail hint, try including a dash of Tio Pepe (sherry) and half a teaspoonful of finely diced celery with your bloody Mary. Bliss!
Biffo
well i had tomato soup on pasta, whichi thought was weird, but was very tasty.
erm...i once made this dessert (for a laugh-sad i know, but im 15 what do yo u expect) out of the wridest things round my friends house-and she dared me to try it and it was nice!
