Just ate small portion of raw tuna from grocery store?
Ok, I just purchased some tune from the grocery store. Pretty sure it wasn't sushi grade. Anyway, I seared it on both sides, but the inside was still pretty raw. I went ahead and ate a few bites of it. Then thought, wow, this is dumb, i'm eating tuna that isn't sushi grade, raw. So my question is, will those few small bites make me sick? I don't feel like I'm dying yet. I also made some homeade salsa tonight that was MM MMMM good!

You should be fine, I prepare my tuna the same exact way and haven't come across any problems (knock on wood*).
Tuna is best raw. Sushi grade tuna, obviously, has the best taste, texture, etc., but I'd have prepared it just as you did...and probably would have eaten the whole thing!

Not even slightly. You could eat it raw even though it's not sushi grade. Sushi grade refers more to texture and shape of the fish rather than its edibility. Sushi and non-sushi grade come from the same fish, just different parts.
You're actually fine, since you seared it. By doing that, you killed any bacteria that lived on the steaks.
Tuna and salmon should be cooked rare, for enhanced flavor.
Sushi grade tuna simply means that it is super fresh and will taste better raw. It doesn't have less bacteria.
That being said, can I have your salsa recipe?
The proper way to cook a tuna steak is to sear it, and leave the inside red. Otherwise, you would dry it out, and it would lose all its flavor.
