Cooking salmon?!

Question:

Cooking salmon?

I have a very nice salmon filet that I would like to cook for dinner. I plan on using a terriyaki glaze. The salmon is about .93lbs. What temperature should I cook it on and for how long? I ALWAYS overcook fish.

Are you cooking on the range or in the oven. If range, do it gently for about 10 minutes. In the oven do it on about 375 covered for 20 mins. You can tell by the smell when it's done, or at least I can - it smells like it's ready to eat. Good luck sounds yummie.

bake it at a low temp or cooking in a frying pan at a small temp. Usea little dill and parsley. A small tiny bit of butter makes it tender. You need to babysit food and you make a great meal. A little cheese on top at serving is a nice touch. A side of steamed vegies is great or a mixed rice and vegies are great too. hope I can help

Brown the skin side with a mixture of butter and olive oil in a oven safe skillet.
Once brown, place in a 350 oven for 10 minutes.
Garnish with lemon slices.

cook it on a cedar plank on the grill. make sure to soak the cedar plank in water for a few hrs first so it doesn't burn too badly. cook med-hi on the grill, flip fish only once, marinate it however or not at all. the cedar flavor infuses into the fish wonderfully. fish is done when flakes easily. enjoy!!!
