Where can i find curry and turmeric???
I live in south texas (the valley) and I dont know where t find indian spices or anything like that any ideas??? thank you!!!

try HEB( it think that is the name of the supermarket) they are really good, if not go to google and see if there is an Indian store, usually they carry them.
If you are at the super store go to spices section and usually they are in alphabetical order you should be able to find

Even at HEB they are more expensive than a bulk foods store. Curry and turneric both have a short shelf life so bulk is best cause you can get just the amount you need.
Both of the spices you mentioned are available along with all the other spices in your grocery store.
any grocery store should have those spices. also organic food stores usually have a larger variety of spices.

www.containerstore.com ....type in 'seamless tins' and you will find very nice plain tins that will keep out the light (good for the freshness of herbs and spices).... and to mark them I suggest you go to your local stationery store (the one with office supplies ....have you one nearby?) and get those nice mailing labels that are white with red borders....they have ordinary glue on them that makes them removable in water, and get a nice water-repellent felt-tipped pen and write the name of the spice or herb ... and paste it onto the tin ...they come in several sizes
