What are some good tasting, healthy foods?

I'm trying to stop eating all the bad food thats so common now-a-days. Any adivce on any good, healthy food to eat that don't require too much efort to make?


Answers:
peanut butter sandwhich with banana slices in the middle
simple parfait: make layers of yoghurt, granola, and sliced fruits
cheese slices with crackers
apple cinnamon casserole: mix cooked rice with eggs and apple shavings, and a dash of cinnamon in a microwave bowl then microwave until fully cooked
rice cakes
instead of eating ice cream, sometimes i like to freeze a banana in a sandwhich bag and eat that it still fufills my craving for sweets, because bananas are so sweet!
pea soup: just follow the directions on the package. You may want to add carrot slices, or chunks of ham for additional flavor
lentil soup: very yummy with sliced onions added!

Stir fry over rice, or a sandwich on some whole grain bread.

You probably need to eat fruit and vigitables... these are good food for you and for anyone.... also try to eat little food... don't eat too much...

You don't want to get away from foods that taste good. You want to get away from foods that do you no good. Soda tastes good, but it does you no good. You will find soda has the same amount of calories as juice, but juice has a nutritional value. If you really want a diet coke, Coca-cola now makes it with vitamins and minerals. Always try to eat whole grain breads. Subway isn't healthy unless you have them make it healthy. don't add oil to your sandwich because mayo is an oil based dressing. That would be way too much fat. Use chicken or turkey cold cuts. Eat the biggest meal of the day during the most active part of the day so you're more likely to burn off the calories. That means you can eat your dessert for breakfast or lunch. Healthy food doesn't take long to cook. Buy more tender cuts of meat that cook quickly. Learn what temperatures different meats are done, and buy a meat thermometer. If you cook your food too long, you lose all the amino acids and vitamins that come with the food.

i heard that now-a-days 1 out 3 people will get cancer, this is bcoz we put to much junk into our system that contians chemicals - so stay away from any food such as chips or preheated corndogs, etc. Try to eat anything thats closer to the ground like fruits and veges, and stay away from foods that have been modified such as chips and fast food,etc. Some good foods would be like subway at times, mash potatoes, steak, tuna fish sandwhich, etc.

Hows about Miso soup... its processed bean curd kinda like tofu... but it dissolves real well in hot water and flavors it nicely... add onions or chicken or even carrots ... actually jsut about anything... veyr filling and good and good for you
