Cookie Dough?!

Question:

Cookie Dough?

I recently bought a package of frozen cookie dough that needs to be baked (obviously). However, my oven has just recently been broken and my friends were wondering, is it safe to just eat it uncooked?

Yup! And it's fabulous!

Sure. It's delicious. In small quantities.

i just ate some uncooked. not the whole package though. it can make you sick.

We eat it uncooked all the time. Its better than the cooked cookies.

yep

Yes.....I would think it would be safe but they would taste so much better cooked. If you have a heavy black iron skillet with a lid you could cook them on top of the stove. You should try a few like that and see what happens. God be with you.

If it has eggs in it then there is a very small chance you will get sick by it a bit more of a risk for the young and old or those with immune problems. So now that my duty as a cook has been fulfilled I eat it all the time and no prob!!!

You really, really shouldn't, there is a risk of Salmonella from the uncooked eggs.

Just eat it, you'll find out eventually if it has any negative side effects.

YUM! I love it!
I think its safe just eating too much can make you feel sick LOL. Obviously.

It should/would have some kind of warning if it wasnt? heck most people buy it to eat it raw.

yeah completley but u dont get the fluffyness of the cookie of course.

check the ingredients if its got eggs you run a small risk of getting sick, no eggs no problem.

Yes, packaged cookie dough has had the eggs pasteurized so it is perfectly safe to eat. Enjoy!
