What kind of fruits should I put to make a mayonnaise salad?!

Question:

What kind of fruits should I put to make a mayonnaise salad?

I planned to make a simple fruit salad with usign mayonnaise and other fruits. I thought of putting pineapple, green apple, honeydew and maybe strawberries.

Any idea what should I put? or is just enough already?

Answers:
Yeaps, that's enough for fruits. Maybe you can add in some boiled shrimps to even out the sweetness. My chef uncle recommended me to add some carbonated orange juice (about 2 table spoons) to the mayonnaise, and the salad turned out even better!

Here's a few recipes that may give you some ideas:

Summer Time Fruit Salad

4 medium red delicious apples, diced

Dressing

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar

Combine all the fruit in a large bowl.
In a mixing bowl, beat the dressing ingredients until smooth; pour over the fruit and toss gently to coat.
Serve immediately.
