How long does it take to boil nine eggs in one setting?!

Question:

How long does it take to boil nine eggs in one setting?

Answers:
once they start boiling - you should let them boil for 10 to 15 minutes. no matter if you are boiling 1 or 100 eggs.

I never boil my eggs, fill your pan with cold water add your eggs, salt it and bring to a rolling boil. When it boils turn off burner and cover for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, have a big bowl ready with ice water. Drain your eggs and put into the ice bath till cooled. Perfect peel and hard boiled every time!

Leslie is right, once they come back to a hard boil, 10 minutes will do it.

it takes 10 minutes to boil and if your boiling 1 it should take 5 minutes

It depends on how big is the pot size, and amout of of water in the pot, and when you put in eggs (codl water or boiling water). In general 15 minutes will do.

I have a way to make perfect hard boiled eggs. Put your eggs into a pot and cover them with water. Bring the eggs to a full boil. Cover with a lid and remove from heat. Let the eggs sit in the pan untouched for 20 minutes. After the time is up, immediately run cold water over the eggs until they are cooler to the touch. I've boiled 1 to 12 eggs this way without any problems. Hope this helps.

This is the BEST way to boil eggs, no matter how many.

Put your eggs in a pot in a single layer. Cover with water so that water is just about 1/4" above eggs. Bring to a good boil. Remove from heat, cover and let sit for 15 minutes.

FOOL PROOF!!

I cover mine with cold water, bring to a boil, and boil for 15 minutes. Drain, shake, fill with cold water and wait 10 more minutes.

I did it this way at the restaurant for years and it works just fine. (You've just brought back memories of boiling flats of eggs every two days...)
