some people are just silly- it's a crockpot so it will take time I am just learning about new ways to make breakfast Interesting - who says I have to eat it for breakfast (in the A.M.)- maybe I want breakfast for dinner and have it cook while I am at work. :) There is a bigger picture here.

Sounds good.......I like it.
I don't have any but that sounds really good I might try it myself
Thanks
So you cook this for 10 to 12 hours and eat it the next day? When do you turn your crockpot on, when you go to bed at 7:00 pm? Sorry, but this looks really crazy! But maybe you like to eat breakfast 10 to 12 hours after you fix it. I get up a little early and cook my hash browns, bacon, eggs, & biscuits all at the same time. We eat and breakfast is over. That's the easy way.
That sounds yummy! You could also try these:
CROCK POT BREAKFAST OATMEAL
1 c. oatmeal
1/3 c. raisins (opt.)
2 1/4 c. water
(Other options, apples, cinnamon, nuts.) Spray crock pot with non- stick spray. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. When the raisins cook with the oatmeal it sweetens it. So adjust the amount of sugar or sweetener.
Great for families on the run in the mornings. Last 1 out, remember to turn off the crock pot. 4 servings.
Crock Pot Breakfast Casserole
6 beaten eggs
10 slices of bread
1 1/2 C. milk
2 cups of grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 lb sausage
salt and pepper
yellow mustard (optional)
Brown and crumble the sausage. Drain remaining fat.
Spread mustard on one side of the bread and cut bread in quarters. Beat eggs and milk together with salt and pepper to taste.
Spray inside of crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Layer bread, cheese and sausage in crockpot. Pour milk and egg mixture over everything. Cook on low 8 - 12 hours.
Crock-Pot Breakfast Cobbler
4 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 C. honey
1 t. cinnamon
2 T. butter, melted
2 C. granola cereal
Spray inside of Crock-Pot with nonstick spray. Place apples in slow cooker and mix in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 7-9 hours, or overnight (alternately, cook on high 2-3 hours). Serve with milk.
Makes 4 servings.
hope it comes out great for you.
I like crock pot cooking, but I've never prepared breakfast in there before.
what will keep it from burning once the eggs are done?? that's the only liquidity item on the list aside from the ice on the frozen potatoes.
