Doublt the recipe, double the yeast?!

Question:

Doublt the recipe, double the yeast?

This might sound dumb but if you're making a double recipe of bread, are you supposed to double the amount of dry active yeast? I swear I didn't last time I made bread and it came out okay. But are you supposed to double the yeast too?

Answers:
Yes you need to double every ingredient. Just think baking is sort of like chemistry. You must have exact measurements when baking. This is not however true when cooking, in cooking you can add a dash here and there. I say Chemistry instead of baking because that is truly what baking is. Thanks for the great question. No question is dumb.

When I double recipes, I double everything. The worst thing that can happen is that your bread wont comeout properly. Trial and error.
