Answers:
Drop into a pot of boiling water, cover and by the time it returns to the boil, reduce heat to a simmer and leave for 5 minutes.
Drain and serve with melted butter and parsley.

shuck the corn. Boil a hug pot of water. Add 1 TBS of sugar. Drop the ears in and boil for 3 minutes. Don't overcook! Drain them and brush on the butter!

Steam them to get that sweet taste plus when buying them on the cob...check if the end of the cob are fresh, where they cut them ...to make sure it's sweet. Once you put a corn on the cob at the fridge, it's taste will change and it's not that sweet as it's fresh.

Until it is tender.

I leave the husk on, remove the silk add some butter and grill or microwave. Here's one to try.

6 ears corn
1 stick butter, softened
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 packet creamy cheese sauce mix (or powdered cheese packet from boxed macaroni and cheese)

Preheat outdoor grill or preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Shuck corn. If desired, leave husks attached to cob to use as holders.

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, chili powder, and cheese sauce mix or powdered cheese packet.

Spread butter on corn and wrap each ear individually in foil.

Place on grill and close lid or place in the oven. Cook 25 to 30 minutes, turning every 5 minutes, or until corn is tender. Remove foil and serve.

Another great way, and I have done this on occasion, is roast it in the oven in the husk. Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 mins. Great if you are cooking something in the oven already, like a roast or such.

boil the corn

take the corn and put butter on it, wrap it in aluminum foil, put it on the bar-bee-q, for 20 minutes, and then remove, unwrap it from the foil, and enjoy,.....

You should fill your pot with water on high heat let water come to a boil and then once boiling put your corn in wait for the water to come to a boil again and let boil for 6 minutes usually done then.
