They're both "bad" for us all. But I opt for butter, I don't have a cholesterol problem, and unlike margarine, butter adds a trace of calcium.

Actually butter is because it's straight from the dairy.
P.S. I'm not sure if this is true but I was told margarine is one element away from plastic (Thought I should let you know...)Keep in mind no one has died from eating margarine soo...Whatever

Butter and margarine both have fat but butter is made from real ingredients and margarine is fake and processed. Margarine is chemically processed to make liquid oils into solid forms which creates trans-fats. So it's not as good for you as you think.
butter is better. Some Margarine is low fat...and low fat is actually worse for you than regular. Since companies have made low fat stuff, america has gotten fatter because they take out the fat and add more sugar. anyways...butter is better.
Margarine is very unhealthy for you, it is worse than lard...it is filled with trans fats and will clog up your arteries like nothing else. Butter is fattening too but it is still way better in terms of health than margarine. In moderation butter is ok, but recipes that call for a stick of butter is just not good. Coconut oil is perhaps the best saturated fat. This type of fat is oleic acid, so it is a different kind of saturated fat, that is good for you. wow, margarine is MUCH better for you.
butter is the one that's high in trans-fats. this is becuase it's made from animal fats. Margarine is generally made from Canola, or some other kind of vegetable. it's not plastic! I don't know where people get this stuff.....
Butter is better for you than margarine which is high in saturated fats. However......I think Smart Beat is supposed to actually be good for you. It was supposedly developed by a Dr. Tastes good as well.
