Answers:
Your supposed to eat it raw, idot

read the directions on the side of the box, after all, thats what they're there for. :P

For homemade or pre-packaged?

Either way you drain the noodles first.
On pre-packaged you then add the milk and cheese.
One homemade, mix an egg with the milk, pour it over, add cheese, mix, and then bake.

NO! NO! NO!

1. Bring about 6 cups of water to a boil.

2. Drop in the macaroni. Bring it to a boil and cook until it's al dente. (Just eat one, the noodle shouldn't be soggy but it shoudn't stick to your teeth either)

3. Rinse off the noodles in a colander. Let them drain in the sink while you make the cheese sauce.

4a. {If using the boxed ones} Melt the butter in the milk in the same pot. Let it come to a simmer. Add the powdered cheese and mix completely. Add the noodles.

4b. (If from scratch} Melt the butter in the same pot that you cooked in. Add a tablespoon of flour to the butter. (You want the flour to absorb all the butter) Add milk bit by bit with a whisk until you get a white sauce. Add shredded cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Wait for the cheese to melt, then add the noodles.

5. Enjoy! [ The directions for Mac & Cheese are on the box, follow them and you'll be ok? ]
