Question:

When making chocolate chip cookies...?

Do you prefer using milk chocolate chips or semi sweet?

I personally like half of each =]

Answers:
Milk Chocolate they have a Much better flavor

I actually prefer dark chocolate chips...just makes them richer.

ditto the dark

Milk Chocolate for a sweeter taste.

i dont like too much of the chocolate chips.
it makes me sick. lol.
but chocolate chip cookies are my favorites!

i am a large fan of milk chocolate chips, they are sweeter but not too sweet, and whats a cookie more than a sweet treat

nice glass of milk and 5 mins out of th oven cookies, cant beat it

I think I would like your idea. I never have tried to mix them. Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite.

I like to use semi sweet, the rest of the sweetness comes from the cookie itself. Milk chocolate chips (while good) are almost too much sweetness for the cookie.

i like all of the milk chocolate chips i can get when i eat them plain but i actually think that if i tried a cookie of each i might not be able to tell- but half of each sounds like a good idea

I use milk chocolate, and peanut butter chips

I'm personally a huge fan of semi-sweet. Lately I've been using Andes mint-chocolate chunks. They're green, so they look bizarre, but they taste good enough to make up for that! :>

If you prefer a taste like a hershey bar I'd go with the milk chocolate. But if thats too rich then go with the semi-sweet. It's really whichever one you think is better. I prefer milk chocolate but a mix would be fine since i usually buy semi-sweet.

semi sweet or the ultimate dark...I like the mix idea....
I also cut back on white sugar in my choc chip cookies

I always use semi sweet. I tried the milk ones and my kids hated them.

i prefer the chocolate chunks when making cookies after easter i buy and freeze the chocolates and cut them when i need them later.
