Question:

What can i make for dinner? i have two turkey breasts in the fridge....?

does anyone have any good recipes?

Answers:
marinade them in italian dressing, bake them, then cut them into chunks & put them in a salad!

Nothing like turkey and mashed Potatoes. I would suggest homemade Mashed Potatoes. To make them extra creamy add some sour cream.

Just have an old-fashion turkey dinner. Cook one or both of the turkey breasts. Make some mashed potatoes and maybe some corn or black-eyed peas.Maybe some baked beans. You don't always have to have some big recipe.

what about doing a Turkey Curry?
buy a jar of curry sauce, boil some rice and hey presto!!!

what else do you have ?

Depends on what else you've got in the house.

could slit them stuff with stuffing - serve with roast potatoes and veg.

Slice them thinly and stirfry with veg with rice or noodles

chop them and curry them with veg and serve with rice.

chop and serve with pasta in either a ham and cheese sauce or tomato dauce

chop into chunks grill on skewer with veg (onion.cherry tomato, mushroom, peppers) and serve as kebabs with rice or pitta

Spaghetti sounds good to me.

stir fry it with some veggies over rice (if you have a little sesame oil and soy sauce on hand- yum)

or break it up and brown a little in olive oil with garlic salt and pepper maybe even an onion, cook noodles and mixed veggies on the side, then mix all together and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

I have done both many times, they are fabulous and quick and if you have kids they will eat it up.

if you want something even easier than that, add it to a box of mac and cheese, then tear up a few slices of sliced cheese and melt into it. makes it extra cheesy and again the kids will eat it up. (mix in frozen peas and carrots to add a veggie.)

or u could have grilled turkey cheese and avacado sandwiches with canned tomato soup.

the possibilities are endless.

I did this last week and oh my was it good. Put the turkey in the crock pot with 2 cans of cream of celery soup and one can of water. Cook on low if over night, high if only for a few hours. Easy and the soup make a great gravy!

2 lbs skinless boneless turkey breasts, uncooked
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons minced dried onions
2 teaspoons minced dried garlic
1 teaspoon coarse salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper

Preheat oven to 425.
Mix all spices together in a small bowl and crush them up together.
In another bowl, wisk soup together with water.
Put 2 tsp of the spice mixture in the soup, stir well.
Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Pour half of the soup mixture into the bottom of the dish.
Place turkey breast pieces on top of soup.
Sprinkle remaining spices on top of turkey and rub in gently.
(I also used the tip of a sharp knife to carve some lines in the turkey in hopes that the spice would soak in, not sure if that was really needed or not).
Pour remaining soup mixture over turkey.
Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake at 425 for 30 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 40-45 more minutes.

marinade them in an oil based caesar dressing but cut them into 3x3 chunks then grill them

Easy. Coat with any chutney you may have or if not then mix together, marmalade, tomoato sauce, chopped onions, a tsp vinegar and coat the turkey and cook in the oven for about 20 mins on 190dec c turning and basting once. Serve with a salad and sliced pre=boiled potatoes dressed with a mix of lemon and butter and sugar. Enjoy!

I made a great summer dinner the other night with a recipe I got off of yahoo for chicken sandwiches...

pound out the chicken, season with cajun seasoning (seasoning f/ your spice rack should be fine)

cook in a pan with about 1 tbsp vegetable oil (I used canola) for 5 minutes on either side until chicken is done.

melt cheese on top (we used swiss but any kind could be fine).

remove from stove and place on hamburger bun or french roll.

put some lettuce, tomato, and parmesean salad dressing on top (my boyfriend used chipolte mayo instead). It makes a light yet tangy sandwich. We served with fresh potato salad as a side dish.

Chop the turkey breasts into cubes and marinade with garlic, ginger and paprika. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Leave for an hour then fry it up with two chopped tomatoes add a half a cup of water and simmer to reduce it by half. When it's cooked serve it up with rice :)
