Random Question on Lean Cuisine?!
Random Question on Lean Cuisine?
Ok, random question but I bought a Lean Cuisine pizza the other day assuming that I could cook it in the oven. But it says it's only for the microwave which I don't have. You think it'll come out awful if I put in regular oven? Not sure what will happen.

I just heated up at 425 on a baking sheet for about 15 minutes. That's pretty dumb they don't have alternate directions like some of their other products. It came out normal, probably better than the microwave since it didn't get hard after eating for 10 minutes.

I think it will be fine. I would put it directly on the rack and cook it at 375. After about 10 minutes, I would check on it. You may want to add some real mozzarella cheese to it so it doesn't dry out. Lean Cuisines' cheeses are really dry and the oven will probably make it worse.
call the number on the back of the box...
Worst that could happen is you try it and it's awful...right? I'd probably do it, but good it fast and hot, like the microwave...and I'd probably cover it with foil to "steam" it a bit...
It would probably be fine if you let it thaw a bit and then put it in a convential oven on a cookie sheet or something. I'd say bake at a lower heat (maybe 325 deg F?) until the cheese is golden on top, and check to make sure the inside is warm too.
prob ok if you don't use the little crisping tray thingedy
I think that is only in reference to the fact that the box is intended to be used in the microwave only. They think we are too stupid to figure out not to put the box in the oven. Put it on a regular pan and it should be just fine.
