What is your favorite Father's Day brunch recipe?
I like to cook but do not seem to have many great recipes. I want to surprise the dads in my life with a great brunch/luncheon--and have plenty of people to help me. Since it's father's day, I was thinking some "manly" recipes would be great for the menu...Any ideas? Please share with me your thoughts and recipes!

My Husband loves this
Mile High Quiche
Pastry to fit bottom and side of a 9-inch springform pan ( I use Pet Ritz 9 inch deep dish pie crust)
1/2 pound sliced bacon
3 cups natural Swiss Cheese, grated
6 whole eggs
1 egg yolk (save white to brush on crust)
1-1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
dash of cayenne pepper
3 cups light cream
2 green onions, chopped (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Fit the pie crust into the springform pan. Brush the pie crust with the egg white. Fry the bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Sprinkle the bacon and then the green onions over the bottom of the crust. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the bacon and onions. In a large bowl add the whole eggs, egg yolk, salt, nutmeg, pepper, cayenne, and beat mixture until well combined, but not frothy. Slowly, pour the mixture over the bacon and cheese in the pie shell. Bake 50-55 minutes, or until top is a golden brown and puffy and the center seems firm when it is gently pressed with fingertips. Remove to a wire rack and let cool 15 minutes. With a sharp knife, loosen edge of pastry from the side of the pan, and gently remove side of springform pan. Leave the bottom of pan in place and put on a serving plate to serve. Serve warm.

My dad LOVES breakfast pizza...biscuits on the bottom, white gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, and some veggies. YUMMY!!!!
An 'Eggs Benedict' would be a good choice. It's a round slice of french toast with: ham, parma ham or bacon on it; then a poached egg; then a drizzle of hollondaise sauce topped with chopped basil or parsley and some seasoning. A good portion would be two per person?

Sausage Rolls.
Flaky or Short Pastry.
450 g tube of Sausage Meat.
Diced Onion.
Mix sausage meat and onion with about ? cup of water.
Take one sheet of pastry and lay on the filling in the centre third.
Fold one side over and brush the other with water and press on top.
Turn over and cut into rolls 3’’ long or cut into 3 or 4.
Make 3 cuts on top of each roll and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Brush with milk and bake about 30 minutes at 215C (425F), in a pre-heated oven.
These good on their own, with some tomato sauce, and you could spice up the sausage meat with some curry or chilli powder.
