Is it safe to scramble eggs in the microwave?!

Question:

Is it safe to scramble eggs in the microwave?

Answers:
Yes, it is. It even seems to increase their volume, but I think they do not have much of a flavor. I opt for the old fashion way.

As far as I know. But I don't like them that way.

Sure. Mix them with a little milk, water, or mayo...whip up. Just make sure you check on them every little while to stir them up.

not for the eggs! LOL

The best recipe option out there

Microwave Scrambled Eggs
Chef: Barbara Groves

For those lazy dinners (or breakfasts, or lunches....)

Serves One

Degree of difficulty: Low

Preparation Time: 2 minutes

Cooking Time: 3 minutes

You need:
3 Eggs
100ml Thickened Cream

Method:
Break eggs into microwave safe container and add cream. Whisk with fork and place in microwave on high for 1.40mins. Stir, and then cook for another 40 seconds. If you would like to cook it longer, do so in 10 second increments, or eggs will be dry, rubbery and overcooked.

Yup.. try this recipe:

MICROWAVED SCRAMBLED EGG

1 egg
1 tbsp. milk or water

In a 1 cup glass measure or coffee cup stir together egg and milk or water. Cook on HIGH power 40-45 seconds or on 50% power 1 1/2 minutes. Scrambled egg comes out light and fluffy.

My daughter does it all the time, they are pretty good

sure is, and quick and easy . whip um up , nice and fluffy every time.

Yes .... just mix them up well add some milk so they do not dry out and season them how you like ..... stir them up with a fork off and on during cooking.....

i never heard of that. do they come out cooked?

yeah, you can even buy those plastic omelet makers for the microwave. those are great.
