Answers:
If the recipe specifies shortening, your cookies will not turn out the same if you substitute with oil.
No only solid works.
i suppose so....just to be sure, i go ask my bf first.....brb
okay, am back.....yeah, he says it's OK
That's not an easy one. Some recipes it doesn't matter, others it will. I think I would probably stick to a solid if that's what it calls for....especially if you're making these for an event or for someone else and can't afford to take the time to make more if they fail. If you try it and it works.....don't forget to note that on your recipe for next time!
Yes,I
have and they were fine.(I have used veg.oil)
you'll have to cut the amount down just add gradually until the right texture,it's better too use less while mixing, you can always add more if needed.(Too much will make batter too loose.)Or use butter that works too,or Butter substitute.
no... it'll make your cookies burn fast then spark in the oven if they get to hot
They will turn out better if you sub oleo instead of oil/
maybe veg oil
