Pasta dishes for children?

Answers:
An easy pasta recipe is one with tomato sauce.. both really easy and kids love them..

++Pasta++
Cook up a quick meal of pasta with a tasty tomato sauce
(makes 2 servings)

You'll need..
125g (4oz) any quick cook-pasta in a packet
600ml (1 pint) water

For the tomato sauce..
1 small tin of chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp herbs

It's best to have two saucepans and cook the sauce and the pasta at the same time, otherwise one will be hot and the other will be cold!

Boil the water then cook the pasta, boil for about 10 mins or follow instructions on the packet.
Drain the water away through a sieve.
TOMATO SAUCE INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the oil
Peel, chop & fry the garlic
Add tomatoes
Add the herbs and sugar and stir. Let it simmer for 2 mins then it's ready!

++SERVING IDEAS++
When the sauce is ready, spoon it over the pasta and stir it up. Chop up some fresh herbs, such as basil leaves, for decoration and grate some cheese for extra taste!

My daughter likes past with tuna and sweetcorn mixed with some mayo!

pasta with tuna and cheese

I make my nieces the best pasta dish they love. In the grocery store the sell package pasta in the latin food lane, the have shapes like stars, smilely faces, and alphabet letters. I cook those and stir in cooked beef franks or pepperoni with a mild pasta sauce!! kinda like what you buy in a can but healthier!!! they love it, i give them grated mozz cheese to put on top themselves, they feel grown up!!

mac n cheese, but take a hotdog and slice it 3/4 up in length a few times so you have 8 "legs" it will look like an octopus and put to dots of the cheese sauce for the eyes and place ontop of the plated mac n cheese. a cute little dish for the little buggers.

Tinned tomatoes, basil, olives, oregano, tomato sauce or puree and top with cheese.

My daughters love pasta with melted cheese and ham.
If you have more time try this-

2 tblspns tomato puree
90ml beef oxo
1 tin baked beans
taglietelle.

Very finely chop the carrot and onion, fry in a bit of butter, add the mince and wait till fully cooked.
Add the garlic salt(if required), tomato puree and the oxo. simmer for about 15 mins.
For the last 5 mins add the baked beans to the mince
Boil a pan of water and cook the taglietelle.
Set it out like you would spag bol.
Serve with warm bread and enjoy.

My kids devour this recipe and always ask for more.

Brown some minced beef, add a mild bol sauce, at the same time cook some pasta shapes - stars - shells etc. When they're ready rinse off as usual then plop them into the mince mixture and stir in a tin of baked beans. Put the whole thing into an oven proof dish top with loads of grated cheese and brown top in oven. They love this, can have it in bowls with crusty bread and some salad on the side. Always goes down a treat in my house.

We're actually able to give ours pesto sauce, they really like it even though it's healthy and green! In addition, a creamy tuna and cheese sauce is a great idea. Most kids will eat it with plain cheese, but that's not particularly healthy. And most kids like bolognese.

Try making pasta with a cheese sauce... (white sauce with cheese.) You could put tuna and sweetcorn in with it. I'm a child and I love it!

I must confess, kids like nothing more than spaghetti, they like twisting it on the fork and slurping it up. Remember, just like you did as a kid LOL.....

pasta dishes are the perfect opportunity for filling them full of veg without them realising what they are eating!!
blitz onions, garlic, carrots, celery, courgettes and a few mushrooms in a food processor until a paste is formed. In a pan put a little olive oil and fry the paste off - add a couple of tins of tomoatoes, salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar - cook for 15 mins on a medium heat, stirring continuosly. Stir though any cooked pasta and top with cheese

When I was growing up my Mom made bacon pasta for us kids. She made the sauce with bacon instead of ground beef. Sure brings back some good childhood memories. Think I'll go make some right now!!
