Answers:
Good quality minced beef (Make sure its good quality, not supermarket rubbish) Easy to do, just gently fry the mince in oil (Just a little) until it changes colour to a light brown, do it over a low heat....when meat is done add a good Bolognaise sauce....simmer for about half an hour...you can add grated Parmasan Cheese . Boil water and add fresh Spaghetti, do for only about five minutes until soft and hot.
Put Spaghetti in dish, spoon over Mince...thats it...You could break some fresh Basil leaves over before serving...About 8oz of mince per person.

Well you can buy jars of the sauce, which comes in different flavours, i buy the extra garlic one cause it taste better and then to cook it up you buy... some mince, some noodles and the sauce then you put the noodles in a pot and let that boil once its boilin put the meat in a saucepan and brown it up once its brown add the sauce then into the jar ad like 2 cm of water and shake it then pur that in too then stir the meat and sauce around till the noodles are ready to cheack too see if their ready take out a noodle and throw it at the wall if it sticks then its cooked! drain the noodles and put the meat and sauce on top then add a little cheese and wahoola its complete!!! hope this helps :)

For a simple bolognese you need mince, onion, garlic and a tin of Heinz Italian style chopped tomatoes with basil and parmesan. Sweat off the chopped onion and chopped garlic in a little olive oil, remove from the pan, brown the mince and add the onions, garlic and tomatoes. As an extra try adding some thinly sliced mushrooms. This is so easy but tastes great!!!

How about Spagetti Cabonara?
Ham-chopped finely
Whipping Cream(750ml)
3 eggs-heat seperately
Parmesean Cheese-lots
Oregano
Basil
Garlic
Salt
Paprika
Fettucine or Spagetti noodles

Mix all the ingredients, minus ham in mixing bowl and set aside. Fry ham in margerine or oil, when lightly golden start adding other ingredients to pan. Mix all ingredients together in pan and heat through. Cook noodles according to box directions and serve ham mix over hot, cooked noodles like spagetti is done!

Mince (beef)
Onion (chopped)
Garlic (as many cloves as you want)
Olive oil (about 2 table spoons)
Red wine
Tea spoon of sugar
Mushrooms (sliced)
Carrot (chopped)
Tomato passata (better than chopped tomatoes)
Tomato puree
Salt, pepper & nutmeg (you don't need the nutmeg but it adds a good flavour)
Spaghetti

Saute the onions, garlic, carrot and mushrooms in the olive oil. Next add the mince and saute until browned. Now add the passata, puree and seasoning. The red wine and the sugar.

Now simmer for a good 40 minutes to an hour. Until the sauce is cooked and a good consistency.

When you cook the spaghetti make sure you don't over cook it, its best served al dente. And have some parmesan cheese for grating over the top. Have some warm bread or garlic bread on the side or a nice green salad and you'll have a lovely meal.

Hi Quail Lover, hopefully you like chicken? A simpler dish to make is to buy a chicken breast fillet per person, cut it into chunks. Put them in a dish, sprinkle them with some cumin & coriander powder (u'll find small refill quantity's in supermarkets it will save you buying the full quantity). Leave sitting for an hour or so.

Heat a 2 desert spoons of oil in a pot, fry chopped onion & couple of cloves of garlic on a low heat, until just soft (adding the garlic just before the onions turn pale golden). Add the chicken in, stir till turned white.

Open a jar of Sherwood's curry sauce (jalfrezey - I'm sure I've spelt that wrong! - is nice but quite hot). If you can't cook rice, you can buy the microwave or boil in the bag type or an easy cook version. Serve with some lightly toasted whole meal pita breads or chapatti's, a dish of natural yogurt, and a dish of mango sauce. Very easy dish to cook, looks and tastes quite impressive.

I hope your parents enjoy whatever you decide.
Good luck.

For spaghetti I use ground beef and sliced Italian sausage. Brown both adding onions, salt ,pepper and garlic to the beef, add to your favorite sauce and serve over noodles with salad and garlic bread. You can also add cooked green pepper and mushrooms if you like to the sauce. Have fun! and try not to stress too much, I am sure they will love anything you make.

Garlic bread = slice bread and spread butter that you have added garlic powder to. sprinkle with dried parsley if you like and put under broiler for a few min until brown, watch it closely so it doesn't burn. If you don't like it crispy just butter and wrap the whole loaf in tin foil and put in oven for about 15 min . at a medium heat.

Go to BBC food and James Martin House call and try his Cottage Pie it's dead easy and super tasty. It looks a bit scary when you see the ingredients but take heart, it really is foolproof. Hint...get the best mince you can find eg. M&S Aberdeen Angus.
You won't be dissapointed.
