Is bud light good for marinading steak?!

Question:

Is bud light good for marinading steak?

I am marinading a steak with bud light and I was wondering if that would make it any better

Answers:
i personally use whiskey to marinate... jack daniels especially along with other spices... also in the grocery store jack daniels has a marinating sause premade. you just add steak.

If it's all you have. But whiskey, bourbon specifically, is better.

Not unless you add some other flavors...

I recommend using beer to cook brats in; not steak.

Wine is better because it has acid with breaks down the mean. Makes it tender.

Yes!

=)

I'm sure it wont really make the meat any softer but it'll taste better!

I would use a darker beer for flavor......
nothing like guiness, but a good quality dark lager will do.

No. Try a variety of the commercially-produced marinades and select one you like, or use a cookbook to make your own. Beer simply is not a good marinade, and so-called "beer batters" really, really suck. Of course, if one is a lazy adolescent, one can pretend otherwise in a misguided attempt to appear "kewl", but beer marinades and beer batters still suck.
