How long should I cook steak?!

Question:

How long should I cook steak?

I needed to know how long to cook a steak in order for it to be tender and how high of heat. The steak that I am cooking is a sirloin. P.s. I am marinading it in bud light. Will that help?

Answers:
Beer is a horrible marinade for steak. A good steak only needs some salt and pepper.

There are three factors that influence how long it takes to cook a steak.

1. Whether it's frozen, or thawed.
2. How hot your grill is.
3. The thickness of the steak.

Your grill should be hot. So hot you cannot hold your hand over it for more than two seconds.

The best way to determine whether a steak is cooked right is to buy a digital thermometer.

A well done steak is firm, and a rare steak is soft, that is another method you could use.

We need more info. Are you grilling it outside? Gas or charcoal? Do you want it rare, medium or well done? How THICK is it?

it depends how you want it done....mo important is to keep the fire low..use w wooden chopstick to poke it in the meat to ensure tenderness..

till its done

inch and a half u cook it for 5 to 6 min. a side. thinner steaks 4 to 5 thicker 6to 7.u want to get the grill hot and keep the flame high. lay the steaks straight up for 2 min. then turn them 45 degrees this will give u the perfect grill marks only flip your steaks one time.when done let Stand for 3-5 min. to let juices settle. good luck.

internal temp 165F
BUT
I wish that you continue to cook steak for the next 65+ years (2075)
