I have a cake recipe that I am not sure if you use oil or water.?!

Question:

I have a cake recipe that I am not sure if you use oil or water.?

The cake recipe calls for 1 box cake mix dry, 1 large box pudding mix that you cook, but you do not cook it, 1 pkg of chocolate chips, and 1 cup water or oil I cannot remember which. I am thinking water.

Answers:
It is most likely oil BUT to be on the safe side, use half and half of the two.

Oil makes for a moister cake and water less so. Didn't have on in my cupboard but that's what I remem. Happy eating!

You can use either, oil will make it more moist, but the water is better for you.

oil so it wouldent be dry

For cake, oil is better. It will make the cake moist not dry. If i remember correctly..brownies use some oil and mostly water for their batter.
Good luck! =)

i think its both!
