Spanish/ mexican style rice mixes? (vegetarian)?!

Question:

Spanish/ mexican style rice mixes? (vegetarian)?

Is there a box of rice that already has the seasonings in it that i can buy at the store thats vegetarian? All the main brands have chicken fat in them.

Answers:
I don't know about boxed rice but I can tell you how to make normal spanish rice.......fry some rice how ever much you'll need then put a can of tomatoe sauce in it and put water in it, bring it to a boil, then you can add onions and garlic for flavoring. salt and whatever other seasonings you like, oregano, parsley, spike, Mrs. Dash is a great one

Yes, Goya makes many Spanish and Mexican rice dishes packaged in a small box.
They are available at your local grocery store, near the taco and salsa section. Not sure if they have chicken fat.

Here is an easy recipe. Try to make your own. Otherwise, go to a whole Foods or really good Supermarket that has a good vegetarian section and get it. Just read the label on the box. Most boxed vegetarian foods say 100% Vegetarian.
