Question:

How do i bbq kabobs without burning the sticks?

Answers:
Soaking them in water is the best way, although I use how burnt the stick is to tell if they are done or not :-)

You Soak the Skewers in Cold water for 30 min.-1 hour before you use them.

Optional...
Once you put the meat/veggies on the sticks; you can wrap the exposed edges with thin strips of aluminum foil if you like.

Try soaking them in water first.

Soak the sticks in water for an hour prior to grilling, or buy metal skewers.

Soak the sticks in water, stock or juice for at least an hour right before using. If you're all ready to cook, wrap the ends in foil.

use charcoal or dog poop

20 Min in water

soak the stick the night before
Or better boil a tall jar the sticks fit in and add boiling water and the whole package of sticks for future use...

If you really like to kabob, get you some metal skewers.I soak mine in hot water over night in the fridge. Why not just leave some in there all thru the Summer?I do,we kabob for the two of us.Thanks for 2.

Soak them in water for a couple of hours, and next time you are shopping get some of the metal ones with wooden handles.

Soak them in water for about 30 minutes, or alternatively buy metal ones with handles that you can reuse.

soak the skewers in a big tall glass of water for at least an hour before you put the food onto them. sometimes they float so i often tie them together to keep them from floating too much.
