Answers:
MICROWAVE BROWNIES - 7 MINUTE ONE DISH
FROM SCRATCH
1/2 c. shortening or butter
6 tbsp. cocoa (1/4 c. + 2 tbsp.)
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Mix and microwave a batch in about 7 minutes. Since corners receive more energy, shield then with foil to help brownies cook evenly, when a square glass 8 x 8 inch pan is used. Other wise use a 9 inch round dish.
Place shortening and cocoa in an 8 inch square dish. Microwave on high 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until melted. Stir in sugar thoroughly. Adding the sugar first keeps cocoa mixture smooth and workable. Add remaining ingredients in the order given and mix well. Microwave at high 5 1/2 to 6 minutes, rotating 1/2 turn after 2, 4 and 5 minutes, until the top is no longer wet.
Cool brownies directly on a heat-proof counter top. Trapper heat completely cooing on bottom of dish. Cool these cake style brownies 10 to 15 minutes. Cut into squares. Store tightly. Makes 12 to 16 brownies.

Yes it is. There are packets you buy that I think are betty crocker and you just and water to the packet and stick it in the microwave
it would be easier but it would not taste as good!
Microwave Brownies
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chunks or chips
Nonstick cooking spray
Put the butter and chocolate into a microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds to melt the chocolate. Set aside.
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar.
In a large bowl sift the flour with the baking powder and salt. Add the egg and chocolate mixtures along with the vanilla and stir well to combine.
Spray an 8 by 8 by-2-inch microwave safe glass pan with cooking spray. Pour the batter into the pan, spread it out evenly, and scatter the chocolate chunks on top. Cook on high for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and let rest for 3 minutes before cutting and eating.
Microwave Double Chocolate Brownies
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
In an 8-inch square glass baking dish, place the butter and chocolate and microwave on high until melted, about 2 minutes. Remove the dish from the oven and whisk to combine. (The chocolate may hold its shape after being microwaved, but really is melted; simply whisk to incorporate into the melted butter.)
Add the sugar and stir well to combine. Sift the flour and salt into the chocolate mixture and add the eggs, whisking until smooth, scraping around the sides to incorporate all the ingredients. Add the vanilla and whisk to combine. Stir in the chocolate chips and microwave on high until set and a cake tester or toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 4 1/2 to 5 minutes.
NOTE: Cooking times may vary, depending upon the strength of the microwave.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the countertop for 15 minutes before serving.
Yes, you can bake brownies in the microwave but you have to purchase the brownie mix that indicates MICROWAVEABLE. It has a special pan inside the package (some manufacturers), or you can read the back of the box for the instructions on how to use the microwave. I don't know if they will taste the same - but they are really developing new ideas with the 'mic'. Lately, I have found sandwiches you can purchase (Panini) and they actually have a 'crunchy' crust when they come out. Good luck
