SPICY BARBECUE SAUCE

6 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
2 c. brown sugar, packed
4 tsp. ground celery seed
2 lg. onions
2/3 c. catsup
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. ground cumin

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer uncovered until thick.

Hot and Spicy BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:
1 onion, finely chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups ketchup, any brand
1 cup water
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
3-4 dashes Louisiana hot sauce

Steps:
1. Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.

2. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, about 10-15 minutes.

3. Pour sauce through strainer to remove onion and garlic.

4. Adjust seasonings to your own taste.

5. Let cool, then refrigerate for a couple of hours.

Spicy BBQ Sauce

2 tablespoons red peppers
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons salt
1 3/4 cups sugar (white)
3/4 cup cooking oil
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 pint white vinegar

1. Mix dry ingredients first.
2. Add mustard & ketchup & mix.
3. Add oil and vinegar bring to a boil and let simmer for 15 minutes.
