Scotcharoos?!

Scotcharoos?

i need a very easy scotcharoo recipe. i made them last year in my home ec class and i dont remember the recipe. but i do remember a few ingredients. chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and corn flakes. i need to know the rest of the ingredients if there r any and i need to know the process of making them any help would be great. thanks

another thing that might help is that we had only like 20 minutes to do this so we did it really fast. and we melted the chips and then we put the corn flakes into it. and then we spooned them onto baking sheets and put them in to the fridge. but it just seems like there should be more to the process

Chocolate Scotcheroos

1 cup sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispies
6 ounces chocolate chips
6 ounces butterscotch chips

Mix sugar and white syrup and bring mixture to a boil.
Blend in peanut butter.
Blend in rice crispies.
Spread into 13" by 9" buttered pan.
Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips over a double boiler or in microwave.
Spread melted mixture over ingredients in pan.
Let cool until chocolate has hardened.

SCOTCHAROO'S

1 c. sugar
1 c. peanut butter
6 oz. chocolate morsels
1 c. white syrup
6 c. Rice Krispies
6 oz. butterscotch morsels

Combine sugar and syrup in saucepan. Bring to boil while stirring. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Stir well. Add to Rice Krispies in large bowl. Mix well. Spread mix evenly in a buttered 4 x 9 inch pan. Melt morsels together on low heat, stirring constantly, or in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds. Spread evenly on top of Scotcharoo's. When cool, cut into 2 x 2 inch squares
