Is it ok to put a rub AND sauce on ribs?!

Question:

Is it ok to put a rub AND sauce on ribs?

Or is that doing to much?

Answers:
Absolutely. I marinate mine in a rub and a little white vinegar. I cook them in the oven at 250 until done, then put them on the grill and mop them with a good sauce. Watch closely, it only takes a couple minutes before they start to burn on the grill.

Nope-you're good-the rub seasons and helps keep the ribs moist, but how can they be ribs without sauce?!

not at all put your rub let set couple hour's then cook the meat then the sauce

Yes, in fact it's recommended to give more flavor to the meat. Just make sure the spices in the rub compliment your sauce well and you aren't doubling up by having some of the spices in both so one particular flavor stands out too much.

Not just ok -- delicious. I like to cook the rub in and then add sauce almost at the end.

yep oh ya ribs mmmmm ribs oh ya!

Just do it sounds great will add flavor. GRILL ON

YES. I use some stuff called RIB ROUND-UP and CHRIS&PITTS bbq sauce. Sauce them at the end. YUM.
