Is boiling in the shell at all healthier than poaching?

I remember reading somewhere once that poaching an egg is the healthiest way of cooking an egg, and scrambling is the least healthy because of added butter and milk (I don't think omlettes were included in that list otherwise that would probably really be the least healthy). Fried eggs, while not as healthy as poached or boiled, aren't actually too bad because the egg doesn't soak up much of the oil it is cooked in.

Eat it raw Mmmmmmmmm!!!

Boil it.

by poaching it.

healthiest way is probably poached, no added fats and oils.

Scrambled

seperate the egg only cook egg white.

boil it- no added fats/oils

poach''

boiled or poached

poach the egg whites only

Poach it. Bring water to a simmer and slip the egg into it untill it is cooked to your desired doneness.

Otherwise, only use the white and not the yolk to make a omlette.

boiling because it stays in it's protective shell

.

poached and boiled.... tastes the nicest too!! x

If you scramble it, then microwave it for 30-60 secs. I would make them before school.

Fried in lots of oil!! Lol jokin...I thing boiled is healthy!! The yellowish part is not healthy in fact some just it the white part although personally I think it's stupid cause the yellowish part tastes fab!! People having cholesterol should also avoid eating eggs since it's not good!!

with some flour, sugar, butter;

it makes a cake!!!

Boiling is the healthiest.

boiling it

Boil a couple of eggs and then only eat the white part :)

boil it

Raw, if you really know your source. They're both fine, poached and shell-boiled. You know that the white itself has almost all the protein in it, and no cholesterol? But the yolks have vits A, D, K and E, iron, zinc calcium and magnesium. Eggs aren't like vegetables. Poaching won't take but a neglible factor of those away. Same caloric values cooked either way, too.

boiled ..or poached is the healthiest...

Boiling , poaching, hard boiling and baking ! Baked eggs in those little dishes that have a funny name that I can't remember are delicious ! Ramikins?

poached or boiled coz it doesnt use any oil then

Poach it in boiling water or scramble without oil.
X D

Boiling in the shell versus poaching doesn't really have a nutritional difference. As long as it's not cooked in butter or oil, you're good.

Boiling it in the shell.

fry it in lard.

There is no difference except for any oil you add to fry!!
Healthiest is a judgment call.
There is one here who would toss the yoke (food sac) the entire nutritional nature of the egg to eat the non nutritional protoplasm of the unborn chick
