How many eggs can you eat per week?!

Question:

How many eggs can you eat per week?

my mum used to tell me than you shouldn′t eat more than 2 a week?? is this true, I love putting eggs in my salads..

Answers:
The latest I have heard is it is OK to have an egg a day.

I eat maybe 2, your mom is correct!

not more than two a day..
so that makes 14 tops a week!!
ok
bye
:)

i eat one a day

u can eat the whites as much as u want....but the yolk is the bad part. one egg is more than 70% of the cholosteral u can consume in a day....if u r chlosteral is normal (which i think urs is) keep it to 3 or 4 a week....but as u grow older its improtant to cut back + its better to start good eating habits now

I personally could eat eggs everyday. I love over-easy eggs in the morning and like you say, eggs in my salad. In my opinion, I don't think they are bad for you. I wouldn't worry about eating too many unless you are buying the store out!

the problem with eggs is the yolk, which makes your bad cholesterol levels go up, which in turn makes your blood pressure high and can cause a heart attack.

but most body builders eat as many as 14 egg whites a day. this is can also be a problem, since too much protein can make your kidneys weak.

i think you can eat about 2 egg whites a day. and this can even be healthy.

It definately would not be wise to eat over 8

well it depends on your cholestoral levels. idont think it really matters. i never count!

The yoke is where the cholesterol is. I myself like eggs. Fried hard boiled or semi soft also scrambled. I eat 6 to 8 a week.

I think the egg has received a bad rap with the whole cholesterol scare of the 90's. I don't like eggs so I don't eat them but my wife really enjoys eggs, hard boiled, soft boiled, omelets and the list goes on. What I've heard the last few years from my doctor is that maybe its OK to eat eggs but watch how you prepare them, in other words, hard boiled would be better than eggs fried in butter, make any sense?
