Full fat baby, if you're making those types of recipes you shouldn't be counting calories. The low fat cream cheese is good from spreading on toast or bagels. Cream cheese is the only one I've had with sweet things, like green pepper jelly or strawberries.
Ricotta cheese is traditionally the base of cannoli filing. That is my favorite way to eat it.
Never been a huge fan of cottage cheese. If i do eat it usually just with a little salt and pepper.
cream cheese you of course can't go wrong with cheesecake.
Cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes with salt and pepper. I also use it in lasagna in place of ricotta. Cream cheese gets put on bagels, celery, muffins and in cheesecake.
I honestly can't tell the difference between full fat and low fat.
yes i can tell the difference they are 3 totally different cheeses!
ricotta is usually used in lasagna
creme cheese is usually used in dips or cracker spreads
cottage cheese is usually eaten with fruit
i can tell the difference in low fat with creme cheese, low fat creme cheese is pretty nasty! lol
I can completely tell the difference.
Cottage - serve with sliced tomatoes and salt and pepper, or blend with an immersion blender to use as a low fat sub for sour cream in dips
Ricotta - love to mix with frozen spinach and use to stuff meats and pastas
Cream cheese - of course as a spread but I use it as the base for a beer, cheddar, and Dijon sauce for sourdough pretzels - YUM
Not a fan of any of these with sweets or fruit. JMHO. I love the fat-free but still creamy cottage cheese. Cut an avocado in half, remove the seed and fill both halves with cottage cheese. Marvelous! Or can substitute garden tomatoes for avocado in summer.
I love all 3!! Cream cheese is good with chicken & bell peppers, onions, garlic!!!. Then the other 2 are good with all kinds of recipes!!!!!
