Preparation of sprouts at home.?

Can you please tell me how to prepare Raagi,soyabeans sprouts at home.I don't want to buy them from outside.I want to prepare them fresh at home everyday.


Answers:
please note that sprouted grains are healthier for you than you can imagine!

You can sprout almonds, Hummous beans, Soybeans, corn kernels,etc etc.

The key is to soak them overnight for 24 hrs, drain the water and let sit for another 24hrs, they will start to sprout.

You can start to eat these once they begin to sprout. The main nutrients are at the base of the sprout within the grain, not the longular sprout itself.

Hi Sunitha,

Soak the soya or raagi or greengram or chenna in the night. In the morning drain the water from it, put in a wet cloth and make a bundle & keep it in a suspended position. The next evening the sprouts will be ready.
Other wise you can keep the soaked beans in a hotpack for 30 hours. It is easy too.
