Is it tender?
Company coming - They can't have onions or spices.
I just need a recipe to cook it plain. I don't know if it is tender or a tough cut that needs long cooking. I have read that it is pretty tender, but it looks tough - no marbleing. (spellcheck says that is correct)

I would saute them slowly in olive oil or butter on medium and covered.
Cook it in a wok if u can..... how bout just salt and pepper?

What about a little cream of mushroom or instead tomato soup. Either it will have to be very quick or simmered in liquid. Maybe you could do an au jus and make open faced sandwiches.
I will use salt & pepper then in a very hot pan with olive oil I'll stir fry it.
Here is a great recipe for sirloin tip. It only uses salt and pepper, and comes with all the instructions. If it's thinly slices, you won't have to cook it too long, but if it's tough, you might need too.

If they can handle garlic, fry it shortly in the olive oil, remove it with a slotted spoon then add the sirloin. It will cook fast. Drain off fat. Adding a bit of beef broth and hoison (sp?) sauce at the end, heating and stirring will add some nice flavor.

Make up some stuffing and wrap with the meat.Secure with skewers. Brown off in a pot and add some stock, and cover. Simmer, turning from time to time, about 30 minutes.
Might be too tough. Why not try a flank steak? You can marinate 2 - 3 (depending upon how many are coming) and grill quickly. This cut slices very well.
You can probably grill on your stove top as well.
I usually buy a strip steak or a t-bone, which I sautee on my stove top (french style). Use olive oil or butter to cook with.
