Answers:
1 large roaster pan
1 large baking bag
chuck roast or 2
scraped carrots cut into 2 or 3 inch lengths
peeled potatoes quartered
2 or 3 onions peeled and quartered
celery washed and cut into 2 or 3 inch lengths
2 or 3 packages of instand gravy mix
Put the baking bag in the pan then fill it will all the ingredients making the gravy mixes according to their directions. Tie the baking bag closed with the tie that came with it.
Bake the roast at 350 in the oven for at least 2 hours but I usually go around 4.
It will be so tender you can cut it with a fork. I think pot roast made in the oven is more flavorful than making it in a slow cooker.
The secret to any meat being juicy, is to let it "rest" after removing it from the heat. This allows the meat to reabsorb any of the juices that were forced out of it during the cooking process. About 15 minutes is adequate.
There are some good and easy recipes for different roasts in my link.

use onion soup mix it makes it really juicy and good
Our favorite recipe for pot roast that any one in my family can make is super simple. Add meat to crock pot, pour over it a packet of instant soup mix and a cup water or so (enough to come up the sides of the roast). Simmer in crock pot for six or more hours. The longer it cooks, the more it falls apart.
Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
INGREDIENTS
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups water
5 1/2 pounds pot roast
DIRECTIONS
In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and water. Place pot roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture.
Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.
Go to the grocery store and buy the most cheapest pot roast there. Then it will fall apart and make nice, easy strips to eat. Then add carrots, onions, peppers, salt, pepper, [your favorite seasoning] and potatoes. It is delicious! =]
Get a nice thick chuck roast, season with salt & pepper, brown it on all sides in a heavy pot. Add a touch of oil if you need to, and sautee about 3 or 4 large onions and 2 cracked garlic cloves until transparent.
Add the meat back in, and cover with water or beef stock to almost the top of the meat. Add a bay leaf & some gravy master, cover, and let simmer for about 3 hours, until the meat starts pulling apart. Remove the meat, and thicken the gravy with a mixture of milk and corn starch.
Slice the meat, and keep warm in the gravy.
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or buttered noodles.
It's ultra tender & very flavorful.
