How do I make lunch when I'm home alone?!

Question:

How do I make lunch when I'm home alone?

I'm not a very good cook. I can barely manage macaroni&cheese. I can fix Marie Calender's pot pie's and popcorn, and I can make quick cookies. I'm a preteen, and I need to make lunch the healthiest possible. Any help?

My wife eats Hot Pockets cause they're low-fat & taste good. Try different kinds of soups. Get lean turkey, lettuce, pickles, etc... & get creative with sandwiches. Toast the bread sometimes & it'll taste more expensive ;-)
best 2 ya sweetie & be careful there by yourself!!

u can make different salads in pitta pockets or easy and healthy omellets. there are some easy and quick recipes on this link.

or...boil some water and put in some top ramen!
its super easy, quick and tasty!!
:]
enjoy!

How about some wraps? Take a flour tortilla your choice of lunch meats and veggies and roll it all up

you got bread?
make a sandwich.
you can starve until your rescue comes
or go visit a neighbor

Do you like subs?
Make your own!

Have your parents buy you some french bread, your favorite meats, and whatever else you like on a sub! They are not only delicious but healthy! And very EASY. Everything you buy also keeps well in the fridge so you can make more than one in a week! Maybe you could have some soup too, now you can buy soup in microwaveable containers!

How about plain old sandwiches. Get slices of bread, spread a little butter on each slice and then put ham or turkey or roast beef (get your mom or dad to stock up the fridge with these stuff!) or a little bit of all three kinds of lunch meat and put a slice of cheese on the pile between the 2 bread slices. If you like, add in a slice of lettuce(which should have been rinsed and water sprinkled off) and a slice of tomato, with the meat and cheese. If you don't like the vegetables, then have a small fruit cup or a fruit for dessert with you lunch. Drink it all down with a glass of milk. This should be very nutritious for a growing pre-teen. If one sandwich is not enough, make two.
Another option: you can spread one slice of bread with peanut butter and the other slice with Jam/jelly. Put them together. Voila! you have made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Drink a glass of milk with it or juice.

Salads and fruit. When it is hot outside, I really don't want to cook. I will clean up a bunch of veggies ahead of time and keep them in a container in the fridge. I like to put a papertowel in the bottom of the container to keep them drier. That way when I am hungry, I can just grab some and go.

I also keep sandwich stuff on hand. Again, when it is hot I just want something cool. I prefer ham with tomato and cheese but everyone has there favorites.

Good job looking for healthy food. Just remember to drink lots of water. You body needs it even more during the summer.

make a salad and put EVERYTHING in it
so it will be a balanced meal

Wraps, sandwiches, salads, spaghetti, canned soup are some quick, easy to fix meals. Omelettes are good too. The important thing about a healthy meal is to ensure that you have a balanced diet, ie. a little bit of protein(meat, eggs), carbs(pasta, bread), fibre(fruits, veggies) etc. And since you're a pre-teen, I would suggest drinking lots of milk at lunch too.
