How do you make your pork chops?!

Question:

How do you make your pork chops?

Answers:
I grill mine , I do not Fry anything at all if I can help it only Tomatoes Garlic and Onions. If the Meat is very Lean I sometimes put a Drop of Olive Oil on it, Otherwise just Grill it for About 7-10 Minutes on each side. You can cut slits in the Meat and put pieces of Rosemary Thyme and Garlic Oregano and Marinade in Olive Oil and White Wine Vinegar for an Hour or so then Grill it or even Roast it in Oven with Par Boiled Potatoes and have Roast Potatoes to Accompany it. Serve it with Boiled Vegetables, like Asparagus, Broccoli,French Beans etc.

I put a thin layer of apricot jam over boneless pork chops. I then put bread crumbs over the jam and bake it in the oven. Very simple with a lot of flavor.

I generally like to cook slowly in a low oven. after i've browned them in a hot skillet, I put them in a shallow baking dish and smother them with chopped onions and barbeque sauce. I cover with aluminum foil %cook them at 325 degrees until they are very tender and falling off the bone.

In a ziplock, put some olive oil, dark sesame oil, some hot sesame oil, a lot of garlic, ginger, green onions and soy sauce. Marinate the chops in that in the fridge, and turn the bag every once in a while.

There are no measurements because you really can't screw it up. Then just grill!

I braise them with a little extra virgin and garlic.

I will usually fry them in a skillet for about 5 minutes each, crush up some Cheeze-Its and roll them in the crumbs and bake them on a broiler pan in the oven for 35 minutes. DELICIOUS!

Lots of ways! It really depends... do you want them with gravy and mashed potatos? If so, scramble of up an egg, take some bread crumbs (or club crackers, saltines, you get the picture) with some flour salt and any other spices. Dip them in the egg (make sure your chops are cut at least 1/2" thick) then dip them in your cracker/flour mix. Grill them in a pan w/ some butter on med-high heat NOT TURNING OVER until the crust on the outside is isn't falling off of the meat. Turn over and do the same for the other side. Then make a mean gravy from the fat drippings and some mashed potatos!
The healthier alternative would be to trim off all the fat and marinate in some teryaki sauce and some spices for at least an hour. Throw them on the grill outside, being careful not to overcook and serve with rice and steamed (or grilled) veggies.

Have fun with your chops!

GRILLED PORK CHOPS

4 thickly cut (1 inch at least) pork chops
2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
2 tsp. molasses
2 tsp. garlic
2 tsp. salt

Combine molasses, ground pepper, garlic and salt. Rub mixture evenly on each side of the pork chops. Allow to marinate for at least 1 hour.
Grill on a hot grill about 5 minutes per side or until done.

I fry them nice and brown then layer them in a single layer inside a large pan. I cover them with crushed pineapple with the juice and a bottle of my favorite barbecue sauce. Then I cover them and bake them at 350 for an hour. After an hour take them out, push them to the side and add some Stove Top stuffing cornbread mixture that I made already. I cover and put it back in the over for 20 minutes. Yummy! The chops are so tender you need to pick them up with a spatula.

If you don't like pineapple, you can use peaches.

If you brine them for 2-4 hours, it hardly matters how you cook them. They'll be great. 1/2 C salt to each gallon of water, and add anything else you want (1/2 C sugar, hot sauce, spices, etc.).

About once a year I use the boneless ones to make schnitzel to have with some fresh spaetzle, home-made mushroom sauce, and some green beans. Most of the rest of the time, I get them on sale, brine them, freeze them (individually wrapped and inside a Ziplock), then defrost and fry a couple when I want them, about 3-5 minutes a side.
