Will beef sirloin be tender just by frying it in a few minutes?!

Question:

Will beef sirloin be tender just by frying it in a few minutes?

What I do to make the beef sirloin tender is boil it in a pressure cooker before frying it? Is this the correct procedure?

Answers:
no that would ruin it!if you have a meat tenderizing tool in your kitchen simply use that first then put a small amount of oil or butter in pan on medium heat season meat place in pan cover with lid turn over after a few minutes cook to your desire of doneness.if you don't have a tenderizer take a clean empty bottle like from pop or beer and beat both sides of meat it works just as well.add diced onions and mushrooms if you like! enjoy!

No. Not unless you slice it across the grain, paper-thin.

if it is a steak...throw it on the grill for 3 minutes for every inch of thickness. If it is a roast...use a dutch oven, add the roast, a cup of OJ, 2 cups of water some spices of your taste and cover. Cook in the oven at 350 for hour and half on until 165 degrees.
