Question:

Any one have recipe to use a bunch of limes and oranges?

We used fruit in centerpieces for a wedding and now I have a big box of oranges and a box of limes. I was thinking maybe marmalade?

Answers:
Marmalade or jam would work, if you have the equipment to make it. You could also juice all the fruit, and freeze the juice (it keeps much better than fresh fruit). Freeze it in portions, like in ice cube trays or small zip-lock bags. Thaw it out as you need it (or use it in place of regular ice, to cool drinks).

Or you can make one GIANT margarita.

sounds like a plan, Go for it, Takes lots of sugar.

Use the oranges to make Orange Julius.Juice the limes and freeze the juice in ice cube trays. When frozen put the cubes in zip loc freezer bags and store in the freezer, then when you need some lime juice you can grab a couple lime cubes for your recipes.

The limes can be use in a cervishy. Scallops and shrimp that are put raw into the citrus juice and the acid in the fruit juive will cook (cold) the fish.Small chunks of othere sefood may also be done this way. You can add herbs and spices and this make a refreshing appitizer of as a topping on salad green on a how day. Sangria punch will go great with the fish.

You can make a key lime pie, lemon squares, lemon or lime curd. All these recipes should be available online. You can try this new drink I've been making: Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1 cup water and bring to a boil until sugar is completely disolved. Cool and add 1 1/2 cups fresh lime or lemon juice. Store this mixture in the fridge. To make the drink, put ice in your 8-12 ounce glass and pour in 1/3 cup of the mix and top with citrus flavored seltzer, I use Adirondack citrus seltzer or lemon lime. It's not too sweet and is very refreshing, especially with summer coming! If you like alcoholic beverages, you can add a shot of bourbon for a whiskey sour like drink or add a shot of vodka. I don't drink the hooch personally but I've mixed up a couple for friends.
