Answers:
Well, I don't know what ingredients you have on hand, but here are some simple things to make.

First, here are the main entree ideas. The desserts with be listed after wards.

1.) Pasta, served in a sauce of butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and topped with Parmesan cheese and basil. To do this, just cook the pasta as normal. In a sauce pan, add some butter and garlic, and saute. Add in a pinch of salt and a bit of pepper. Serve over pasta. Top with shredded Parmesan and minced basil. This is a simple pasta recipe, and can go well with many things as additions. Try adding in cooking shrimp or grilled chicken. Serve some garlic bread and a salad on the side. Yum!

2.) Loaded baked potatoes- This is super easy if you have a microwave. Just mic the potatoes until done, and then set out little bowls with various topping so people can help themselves to what they want. Some ideas are- cheese sauce, bacon bits, broccoli, butter, onion or chives, and the obvious salt and pepper.

3.) BLT salad- This is a variation on the BLT, in salad form. You'll need to fry up bacon, and crumble it. Then you'll need a serving bowl of your favorite greens, such as lettuce, or spinach. Then dice up some tomato, or use cherry tomatoes, cut in half. Add in the tomatoes and bacon to the lettuce. Then make the dressing- it's made from 1/2 cup mayo and a little milk. Mix the mayo and a little milk in a small bowl. Keep adding enough milk until its the consistency you would like. Then pour over the salad, and toss well to coat. Sprinkle the salad with salt and pepper. If you would like, top with croutons or a little cheese. Serve with a bowl of soup on the side, to complete the meal.

4.) Chicken and biscuits- Get some skinless boneless chicken breasts. Cut into strips, and fry in a bit of oil until done. Or, you could use whatever chicken pieces you have, and when it's done cooking, allow it to cool, and then remove the chicken from the bones. Get a can, pack, or make from scratch, some home-style country biscuits. Bake them, then split them in half. Butter them with as much or little as you like, then place the chicken on the biscuits. Drizzle on some honey. Serve with some mashed potatoes or steamed veggies.

Now, the desserts.

Strawberry shortcake sunday- you'll need some fresh diced strawberries, some vanilla ice cream, some strawberry syrup, and some vanilla wafer cookies, crushed. And then assemble it how you like, as with any sunday.

chocolate strawberry pie- This is like a cheese cake. Get 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips, 8 ounces cream cheese, softened, one 9 inch Gram cracker pie crust, 3 tablespoons honey, and fresh, sliced strawberries. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate in mic until it looks shiny. Be sure not to burn! It may look solid, but if it's shiny, it's melted. Just stir it until smooth. Allow to cool at room temp. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese until softened and creamy-smooth. Slowly mix in the chocolate and honey into the cream cheese. Mix well. Spread into pie crust. Cover, and allow to chill for at least an hour. After chilled, top with strawberries, and then serve. This is so good!

Simple soda floats- Get some vanilla ice cream, and some off-brand orange soda, cola, and root beer. Allow people to choose their flavor, and make a classic, simple float.

Dinner: Green Chile Stew with beans and potatoes

Green Chile Stew:
1 lb hamburger meat
1 16 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 4 oz can tomato spice (little yellow can by the canned tomatos)
Green Chile (how much ever you want) shredded or chopped
salt to taste
garlic salt to taste
pepper to taste

Cook hambuger meat thouroughly. put in pot with other ingredients and add 1 cup of water. Boil. Add more water depending on how juicy you want it. Simmer for 30-45 minutes to let flavor of Green chile escape into the entire pot.

Beans
Buy beans from the store in the bag (not the can) 1 bag
place in crockpot on low with water that barely covers all beans. Turn crockpot on low and heat for 4-6 hours then turn to medium or high heat and cook for another 2-3 hours. You can put bacon in with the beans if you want to. It adds more flavor. Salt. You may need alot of salt. If you need to add more water you can, but when it is done, the beans should have a nice brown juice that will very slowly thicken. Ready to eat...

Potatoes
peel potatoes
slice width wise
put in pan with olive oil and fry.
Sprinkle seasonings (whatever you like)
For an added kick throw in some chopped up green chiles.

Serve all 3 items in a bowl as layers or place on a plate seperately. Eat with a nice warm flour tortilla.

Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars

Buy the cookie dough mix or make your own, use a stick of cream cheese w/ an egg and 2 Tbsp. sugar. Use half the dough to line the bottom of an 8" square pan, followed by the cheesecake mixture, then the remaining half of cookie dough on top. Bake at 425 for 25-30 minutes. Then refrigerate until serving time. mmmmm. very tasty!!!
