I am making fried pork chops, mac-n-cheese, buttered broccoli and garlic bread. We will wash it down with a nice refreshing coca-cola.
I'll have a lean steak and big fat salad.

Garden Risotto. Onion and Arborio rice with added lo fat/lo salt chicken broth; peas, baby spinach and asparagus. Some grilled chicken sausage on the side.
Summer Fruit Salad
INGREDIENTS
1-1/2 large peaches, peeled and cut into chunks
3/4 cup blueberries
3/4 cup sliced strawberries
1 bananas, sliced
1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
Orange-Yogurt Sauce:
1/2 cup vanilla nonfat or low-fat yogurt
1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
DIRECTIONS
Combine fruit and lemon juice. In a small bowl, mix yogurt and concentrate. Put fruit in a large glass bowl or 6 small bowls or parfait glasses. Drizzle sauce over fruit and top with mint.
this is the best. for a main dish i make a chef salad with cheese and boiled eggs.

Baked Trout.
Remove head and tail and make two or three slices to the bone in each side.
Sprinkle with salt and some lemon juice. Place on, a bed of lemon slices, (from the lemons you have squeezed for the juice) on a piece of tinfoil.
Fold into a parcel and bake at 170C for about 15 minutes.
Serve with mashed potato, minted peas and mint sauce.
